Firstly, I want to point out that this is not technically a security product, BUT it is a product that will be very important in maintaining the cleanliness of your oil tank due to the forthcoming release of BIO Kerosene which is a 30% FAME and 70% Kerosene mix.
The addition of FAME (Fatty Acid Methyl Ester) is better for the environment (reduces emissions by 28%) but a lot worse for your Fuel storage tank.

A typical victim of the current spate of domestic heating oil theft is Carla Armstrong and her family who live in rural, off grid Cheshire. Recently, the Armstrongs lost around 700 litres of fuel from their 2000 litre plastic tank – a theft, say Police, which probably took less than ten minutes to perpetrate. 2011 looks like a year that is going to hit us hard in the pocket, what with VAT rising to 20%, Utility Bills rising by 30%, Fuel at an all time record high and Food and Commodity prices rising further still.
And on top of this when we do outlay the cash to keep our day to day lives going, there are always some criminal minded individuals (We shall call them Scum), looking for the free ride.

Recently there has been a massive increase in the number of Domestic and Commercial Fuel Oil thefts across the UK, costing the owners not only thousands of pounds in expense but also the time and effort it takes to report the crime, get a refill and think about another security solution.

Yesterday the postman brought me a letter I really did not want… My water bill! I first left it on the kitchen worktop hoping that somebody would move it to a safer place such as the recycling but after a while I went back to check and it was still there. I then placed it strategically on the kitchen table hoping it would get disposed of with the food on the dinner plates…… Nope, still there.
